The automated systems are generating a larger amount of data concerning each aspect of their functioning and of the items that are handled: an intelligent SW suite is able to analyze the data and present them in a friendly way to the production managers, that can make decisions on a better information level, and thus improve their performances. Key process indicator are not only focused on process improvement, but include also environmental performance aspects, allowing a continuous monitoring and improvement of the operations’ environmental performances.
